We're One with the Community

Individuals have the opportunity to work on daily living skills, social development, communication, functional academics, community integration, physical exercise, computer skills, pre-vocational and vocational training.

Communities are strengthened by the talents of individuals with disabilities.

In addition to volunteer opportunities, our individuals actively engage in their community in many ways such as shopping and bowling, taking trips to the movies, restaurants, area libraries, post offices, parks, flea markets, festivals, The Pittsburgh Zoo and Carnegie Science Center. Our agency vehicles are integral in providing opportunities in the community.

Volunteer Locations

Individuals at the Washington location volunteer with the Meals-On-Wheels program at the Washington Area Senior Center, The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, Christian Outreach, Salvation Army Chapel, The Moose Lodge, The Washington County Food Bank, and Stepping Stones just to name a few. Individuals at the Greene location in Waynesburg volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program and Direct Results.
