Building Senior Talent
The Older Adult Daily Living Program (OADLP) at the Adult Training Facility in Washington provides support for seniors ages 60+ with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism in order to maintain and enhance their skills, develop their interests, enjoy their community, and highlight their journey.
Every day, we celebrate the abilities and talents of seniors with disabilities. The individuals in the OADLP focus on daily living skills, physical exercise, health monitoring, community integration, and other recreational/leisure time activities. They have their own space within the Adult Training Facility, including areas for arts & crafts, relaxation, and individualized support. They're also involved with local Senior Centers for meals and playing bingo.
